The stripping is accomplished by hand stripping and tumbler stripping but mainly by media blasting of the metal or plastic parts within blasting booths. This is done inside blasting rooms to minimize the EPA regulation oversight and to reduce the liability insurance costs. This limitation would then necessarily exclude work outside the shop such as patio railings. Accounts primarily cover a five state region in the northeast and range from commercial, residential and hobbyist particularly as related to classic automobiles. In addition to automotive business, accounts can include any surface refinishing applications such as aircraft parts and industrial parts. Original gross equipment costs incurred were in the $350,000 range with a current value of roughly $200,000 and is included in the purchase price. Sales for the last three (3) years were $596,500 in 2010, $558,700 in 2009 and $579,700 in 2008. For the full year 2011 sales are estimated at $625,000. Company is an S-Corporation.
